SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of complex technical support activities. As a technical liaison, provides advanced design, troubleshooting and repair support to company field engineers, technicians, and customers.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support Operations and Sales in new product development and release.
  • Analyze projects, procedures, and problems to find creative, logical, and effective solutions to known problems.
  • Develop knowledge of company product terminology, operation, and standards of installation and commissioning to support and train authorized service providers (ASPs) and other customers.
  • Provide expert technical knowledge of product suite and related components in order to facilitate customer, ASPs, and staff inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot company installed products over the phone.
  • Implement organization-wide standards and best practices for product design and sales tools management.
  • Route support requests that require different or additional expertise to appropriate engineering staff.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop all authorized service provider training programs and materials
  • Implement at least 50% of authorized service provider training programs.
  • Provide support on basic company office operations (computer, phone, alarm etc.).
  • Provide technical support to authorized service provider program as required.
  • Provide product design and sales support for all company products through Access database development or other product.
  • Develop and maintain sales tools programs to support the ASP sales process


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: in field of (if applicable): mechanical or electrical engineering Experience: in field of: electrical power or power electronics

  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions in the English language.
